Hen Hatch is the University of Delaware's premier venture funding competition. It provides student, alumni, faculty, and staff entrepreneurs with the opportunity to make connections and collect feedback on their ideas while competing for startup cash and prizes totaling more than $40,000!

 

Business concepts are submitted to biz-plans@udel.edu and semi-finalists are then notified. Semi-final presentations take place to select finalists, and final round presentations take place during the President's Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

 

Hen Hatch offers two competitive tracks: (1) a student track and (2) an alumni, faculty, and staff track.
