The E-Internship Program is open to all university students, regardless of major or area of study. The program places students in entrepreneurial environments, ranging from technology transfer to marketing research to pre-seed and late stage new ventures. Positions requiring technical and/or business skills are available.

 

E-Internships differ from other internships in three ways: (1) students are immersed in entrepreneurial environments that foster the ability to work independently and adapt to change, (2) students are required to participate in professional development activities via an internship course, and (3) students are paid for their work.

 

Since many entrepreneurial organizations lack human resource capabilities, applications are heavily prescreened, and employers are presented with a short list of internship candidates. Prescreening involves the application of employer-provided criteria and may also involve third-party screening and preliminary interviews. Priority is given to students who are enrolled in an E-Studies academic program.
