Congratulations to our Hen Hatch Finalists!
The final presentations of Hen Hatch, the University of Delaware’s premier business startup funding competition, were held as part of the fifth annual President’s Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship on April 19th.
In the student track, prizes were:
1. Alexander Razzook of Mobiletech Orthopedics: $4,700.
2. Beau Jones and Mike Devine of Xling: $4,300.
3. Vinu Krishnan, Sameer Satheye, Sean Gilligan, and Tim Walsh of T3D Nanotech: $1,000.
In the alumni, faculty and staff track, prizes were:
1. Nikhil Paul of Nfoshare: $8,000. The startup also received an additional $500 based on results from on “Audience Choice” award.
2. Benjamin Tang and Eric Pridgen of HapHunt: $1,250.
3. Pedro Moore of Endevr: $750.
All teams also received an incorporation services package from CorpCo; New Castle County Chamber of Commerce memberships; three to five hours of legal services from Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz; and three to five hours of accounting services from Belfint Lyons & Shuman.
